Everyone around me seems to be cursing your name and so I jumped on board, and thought, “yeah I can’t wait to move on to 2012.” But it just didn’t feel right. After reflecting on what actually happened in the last 364 days I realized you were a pretty good year:

~2011~
Started my publishing company “BIG VOICE little body
“A Little Help” premiered on the Sony Lot and I walked the red carpet :)
My song “I’m Lucky” was released on Columbia Records (Soundtrack)
Saw my name roll across the big screen in a movie theater
Invited to sing at USC as part of their Thornton Alumni Association
My Nephew was born (First boy in our family)
COYOL EP was released
COYOL release show was attended by 200 of our amazing friends :)
Finally saw Ryan Adams play (2nd Row)
Traveled to New Orleans (highlight), New York, Austin and Italy 
Received a promotion/raise at my job
Met Celine Dion (whoa- my heart goes on)
Had a song I co-wrote pitched to one of my idols
Moved to Silver Lake

And I’m sure much, much more. So Thank you 2011; you’ve raised the bar. Hoping that 2012 can bring it just as much as you have.
